Katarina Stupavska is an interior print designer and concept developer based in Amsterdam, specialised in custom made digital wallpapers for hotels, restaurants, apartments, offices etc. The commercial collection of the wallpapers inspired by the "Dutch Masters in the Golden Age" will be launched in April 2016, in collaboration with the wallcovering company BNinternational in Huizen, The Netherlands.
My biggest fascination for printed wallpapers is that they can tell a story about a place and create an experience. The starting point of the designing the wallpaper is the history of the place, what doest it stands for, colours, lights and the costumer vision. My inspirations comes from the old craftsmanship which is mixed with contemporary trends and the new technology.
For every emotion, any goal, there is a print to be created.
After a 5-month internship at Mary Katranzou studio in London, completing the exchange at Geneve University of design and graduating at Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Fashion & design department in 2013, I discovered my love and passion for the prints. My prints are a fusion of art, fashion, graphic and interior design. The history and future meets with art, trends and my personal vision for every feel.
